Am i the only one that thinks 'Killer Holdem' by John Vorhous is a great book?
Its not the theory of poker, or HE4AP, and doesnt purport to be. It deals alot with general principles, gambling psychology, table image, 'winning attitude', reading players, and things like that.
As an extra bonus, the section where he does an internal monologue of the various types of players is just plain goddam hilarious-- i dont think a book has made me laugh out loud like that since i read 'notes from underground', which was probably about...*wince*....9 years ago now.
