I tried something new and went for the check/call on flop to lead on the turn and then he min raised me. I called because i wasn't sure if that meant boat. I thought it could be an informational raise. I know i can't call the turn but should i have just folded on the turn or check folded the turn to a significant bet? (i wonder who's gonna be first to say I should have raised preflop)

I really dont like your turn play because you build the pot so that it will be impossible to call that river bet
I dont think he has KK 2346 or something is plausible but who knows

I reraise preflop rather than let the min-raiser have the control of the hand and bring in others who only have to call 0.50.

I hate to reraise (or raise) with naked AA, but AAQJs is a different animal as you can play it well in a big pot with a lot more flops. And if you're up against another AA, he might reraise you back and you'll likely have the best hand. Not reraising there after a limper, then a minraiser, then a coldcaller is just sinful in my opinion.

Continuation bets with this hand on the flop are a lot safer even if it doesn't smack you because you'll often have some backdoor potential.

The K22 flop sucks, though, but if you had control of the hand preflop, you'd be in a much better position to bet at it and run if raised, rather than play a K22 flop with aces in a multiway pot.

Well, you can raise preflop, which would solve the problem of wondering if he has a deuce most of the time... That said, I think you have to lead this flop. You're likely good, and if you get called (since you hold the only draw) you know right there that he has a deuce or a boat and can proceed accordingly.
