Checked to me on the flop so I bet thinking i could take it down there. His call worries me but I'm not sure what he could have. I could still be in the lead. He check to me on the turn which could be a trap or weakness. What do you do?

I bet pot, he raised all in and I folded. However, I bet about 9 and he went in for $20. 11 for me to call so I felt like an idiot for putting that much in and folding.

I know you've already given us the results, but...

Unless I had a good read on a guy that tells me he is a calling station, the check-call and then check on the turn is red flag to me. He might call a bet on the flop wanting to peel one off, but most players won't call a big pot-sized bet on the turn without something that beats two pair.

Anyway, I would check behind (easy to say now, right). I would only bet if I had a plan I was comfortable with if I got reraised (i.e., call or fold without regretting it)..
