dealt [Ts] UTG. I limp. Folds to the BB who raises to $5. The BB is a player who is always up at every table I've seen him play. However, he has a hard time letting go hands and will sometimes raise with junk. I've taken a lot of money from him in the past and frankly I don't know how he wins so much. Anyway, I call the $5 raise.

I have the nuts on the flop with top trips. Opponent leads out for $10. I raise to $30. Opponent calls.

TURN $70.5

Turn brings the flush out. Opponent moves all-in. It's $69.50 for me to call. The pot is about $140.

I think about it and guess he must have aces down with the because thats how I might play it. So I call.

He might have been chasing with AK hearts. So I would have to fold.

Reason for my thinking. His past history for over playing. He cold called your re-raise. If he had AA I think he would have put you all in there. Then when the heart hit he put you all in.

With the flush draw on the board I would have gone all in after the flop. If he is willing to chase after that then so be it.

Perhaps Kowboy....but don't you find it don't you find it odd that he would hit the nuts then all of a sudden move all-in and not try to milk me in the least bit? After all I have shown much aggerssion on the flop, he would have to think i'd continue on the turn correct?

Anyway, you'll hardly ever find me folding in this spot because so many times they won't have the flush..and even if they do i still have outs on the river! i'm not telling what he had yet though

He ended up having [Jd]. No heart, no draw...just an overpair. Very odd play by him on the turn. I suppose he was trying to represent the flush..but when someone makes a huge bet like that..... That isn't what they would normally do with a flush.

He had no help on the river and I doubled through.
