Both tournies on Full Tilt

Hand One:

10+1 262 entrants. Ways from the money yet.
Blinds 120-240 w/25 ante.
Relevent stacks

BB and SB have 3K approx each.
Utg min raises to 480, (5k behind), utg +1 raises all in for 7900.

Hero is on the button with QQ and 10,500.,

Hero's move?

Hand 2
24+2 3500k Guarantee 186 Entrants

Bubble just broke and we are down to final 18, first hand in the money.

Blinds 400-800 w/100 ante

Hero is UTG with QQ and raises to 2400 and has 19,925 behind.

UTG +1 reraises all in for 25,000 total. Haven't played a hand with the guy all day so no reads.

I think a lot of the decision process is based on the extent you think you can outplay your opponents given the tourney scenarios.

Unless i had a read on the all-in as a donk, I would be tempted to fold hand 1. You've got plenty of chips to play with relative to the blinds.

For Hand 2, I might be willing to call. Your M is about 10, and you're probably going to need to win a coinflip at some point to get deep in the tourney. Again, if you think you have enough chips to outplay your opponents later, then I might lean more towards folding.

In hand 2, if they guy is any good, he was a fool to go all-in with AA or KK. As such, I might think he has a weaker hand like JJ or AK.
