This hand just left me...

fwiw, up until this point, HTP was a fairly sizable winner in my PTO db, and Lapras was a fairly substantial loser.

can anyone walk me through this hand? i just can't figure out what they were thinking. the best i can come up with is:

Lapras was drawing to a weakly protected nut low.

HTP was trying to push Lapras off his hand on a stone cold bluff (OK, he had a draw to a gutter, but still...).

What chaps my a s s the most is that neither of these dudes would give me any action.

People do strange things. I can't explain it really, I quite often see this and it's inexplicable every time - some players who play perfectly (or relatively) normally and then just throw away a ton of money on something unbelievable.

HTP was just around 100 hands, Lapras was at about 700. not really reliable data. that being said, the stats were at the far extremes, so i gave them a little bit of credence.

Lapras is a loser at several levels i have data for -- perhaps 500 more hands.

anyway, i am still bitter that neither of these clowns would give me action.
