Clearning bonuses at X party skins

Before the split I would clear every bonus at the PL08 tables. The clear rate really didn't matter to me because I could make a decent wage just off the game, so the bonus was just icing on the cake.

With the split I am debating if this is even worth it. Last night there were only 5 running PLO8 games and 3 weren't worth playing, 1 was reasonable, and 1 was good. Not exactly lush fields. For PLO there were only 4 games running and 1 had an average pot of $3!

Is making $3 per table hour really worth it when I have to play at total rockfests?

Briachek I know that you have been working off the 20x Multi bonues. Have you found them worthwhile? Eurobet currently has a 10x, would that be worthwhile? What do you guys think?

I am half way through the Empire reload bonus and played in the rock garden (PL O8 25) last night. Half way through the night, I was wondering what was more profitable, playing Party without a bonus or playing Empire with one. Quite frankly, I think that Party has more profit potential over the same period of time.

I was going to wait until the weekend to finish off the bonus since the weekend seems to be a little looser.

yeah... i don't even bother with the bonusesat the skins (i am sad to say). i prefer loose tables.

For me it is close.

For PLO8 I
- make 15PTBB/100.
- average 52 hands per hour

That means I make around $4 a table hour. In the past I have averaged 3.2 tables however this was because of the 4 table limit so I would guess that could be around 3.8 if I played party. That would mean I would make a little under $15 / hr.

For a 10x bonus I have been clearing at the rate of 4.0$ / table hour (estimating 75% raked hands, I don't have PTO in front of me). That also assumes that the rock gardens wouldn't cause less raked hands which it would.

However, I would only be able to play 3.2 tables so to break even I would need to make 0.875 $ / hr.

If I did my math right that would mean if I can make more then 3.25PTBB/100 playing the bonus would be financially the right choice. I am pretty sure that I could make that; however, playing with rocks is just damn boring.

Are the PLO games as tight as the PLO8 games?

I still make a good wage playing the party skins even during the bonus. Last night, I put about 700 hands in at multi (with 4 party tables going too for 8 total) and while I was down $16 on party, I was up a little more than $50 on Multi in about 3-4 hours. This is typical for me. I'm sure I can make a bigger score on party but I think I can take a harder fall there too from the loose players so its a trade off.

The players are really the same.....bad. Except, the skins have bad tight players so you win a lot of pots betting in position with marginal hands while Party has bad loose players that will chase things more but suck out more too.

I don't have my numbers in front of me (i'm at work of course ) so I can't quote you off numbers but I'm up about $400 this month on multi working off the bonuses and I completed the 200, a 100 and 600 raked hands towards a 150. Therefore, my wins are outpacing my bonus but its a nice extra $8 onto my hourly rate.

Empire is now offering a 100% match up to $300 bonus too for 20x release so hopefully some players come back to make the tables going but as long as people play, I can take a good amount of money off them.

Yeah, it's a total waste of time. I am in exactly the same boat (see blog) but i've done 600 hands now so i'm going to have to grind it out i guess. There's hardly any games other than rocky 25 buyins, really crap. I did triple through on a (rare!) 100PLO right at the start of the bonus so at least I can guarantee i'll be up over the period, given i've only played these dumb 25plo8 rock gardens since...

I'm looking forward to checking out the new party though.

should have seen me later when I had $130+ in front of me on one table. It was a good night.

The tables were especially good last night as there was a manaic raising and betting everything. People kept paying him off with crap trying to catch him. I went 3-0 on double up with him. I made about $75 just from him alone. He would jump table to table and according to PTO, he was down about $250 in a couple hours.

And if i'm your fish guys, feel free to sit down and watch this fishy take all your money.
