I really enjoy getting and when you get 6 times in the one session its even better and when you win with six times on the bounce then you can't feel very pleased with yourself even though it's hardly the most difficult hand in the world to play when the flop is all rags with no to be seen.

Despite this luck as has happened a lot recently I was rivered to flushes and straights on quite a few other hands though overall still managed to post a marginal winning session.

I did observe last night an interesting player who seemed to dot around different tables looking for the best game but you really did wonder if it was worth all the effort as no sooner had he played 20 hands then he was gone only to return 20 minutes later then disapeared again before returning again.

Hardly the best way to get a feel for the table and the other players

Just read your journal for the first time and many thanks for all your postings. I appreciate you sharing both the good and the bad. And I especially am following your "effort" to get your VP$IP numbers down. You are below me, and I know it is a fault of my game to see some of the suited connectors and flush draws out of position.

That's the month of November over and it makes quite pleasant reading from a financial and a poker playing perspective:

VP$IP: 18.5%
This is outside my tolerance zone of 16% to 17% and was caused partly by a good run of cards and partly by attacking the blinds more frequently. I think I am still playing to many hands and plan to monitor this against next month to see where we are.

BB/100: 1.5.
OK to quite good and this resulted in a profit for the month of £487 (of which around £150 was bonuses). I've has better months (and worse).

Aggression Factor: 2.22
Aggresion Frequency: 48.91
Pre Flop raise 10.62%

These stats seem to be much the same month in month out and seem about right for my style of play which involves seeing a lot of varied types of hands.

Overall I have to be reasonably happy with the month gone by
