I probably would have folded preflop because of the hanger (the 2s) but I am trying to play pretty tight since my last free fall.

After the flop, the board is a bit scary with 2 diamonds and your hand has none so you are not taking away anyones flush cards. Of course if a Q or K lands then a higher str8 comes into play to since you dont have the ace. So that flop would worry me greatly. But I'm still learning. By the way the betting went i am assuming one of them has the a flush draw, perhaps the ace. Worse case someone has the same str8 as you but also has a flush and/or Ace str8 draw to go with it.

I am thinking atm you are fighting for a split pot and perhaps a dog to a better drawing hand.

Yeah, that's a crappy situation (pretty similar to one I just posted actually).

You can wait for a safe turn to try and get all in, or you can fold it, or you can get the money in now.

Now, does it change anybody's evaluation of the hand if there's no flush draw on the flop? i.e. the flop is 9TJ rainbow?
