Just to weigh in: I agree that the guy is not a donkey here for pushing with ATo. But I would also say that I personally think it's one hand too early to make his move. I would not push but would raise to 9000. If I get a caller and a favorable flop or if I don't get any action ahead of me on the flop, then I might push it. But if I get any active resistance at any point, I fold and wait for the next hand to push with.
