This is a close one. It looks like this guy is a LA, but is he mindlessly aggressive? Can he lay hands down? Basically I want to know if he is a good LAP or a bad LAP.

If he is a bad LAP then I fire again because he probably would have pushed the flop with a set or top 2. If he is a good LAP I check behind because he could be trapping and probably wouldn’t flat call the flop with a naked draw.

Overall, if he is a bad player I am willing to put all my money in, if he is a decent player I am not.

BTW how did you get the converter to work? It barfs every time I try to feed it a PLO8 hand. Is it Party vs. Stars?

I get the feeling he needs the free card more than you do, I'm guessing he is on a flush draw with perhaps an A3 as well. The only hand that eats your lunch here is a set with A3, so I'd bet it. I can't see anyone slow playing a set with that flop unless they have a monster behind it (or they are an idiot, which I guess is entirely possible).

I don't know if I'd go a full pot tho, probably 1/2 to 2/3. He's got about $60 left, so bet $30. If he was to come over the top of you then you'd have odds to call. Of course, another argument can be made to just push him most of the way in with a full pot bet, but I think a lot of guys fear the 1/2 stack bet more, since it seems like a milker.

If he flat calls then I probably check behind on the river if it blanks, pushing if you hit your low or better.
