I don't know what to say about this book, other than that I picked it up on Christmas Day (got it from the wife), and put it down maybe once before I finished it the following morning.

For those who haven't heard about it, the book details the (true) story of Andy Beal, a billionaire Texas banker who takes a hankering to playing heads up limit holdem and decides he wants to play the best in the world at it for millions of dollars. Everything in the book is true (to the best of everybody's recollection, I'm sure there was some exaggeration going on). Stuff on Doyle, Ted Forrest, Jennifer Harman-Traniello, Todd Brunson, Lederer, you name it.

There are more amazing anecdotes in this book than in 40 years worth of Cardplayer magazine articles. It simply blows everything away that I have read in the realm of 'poker non-fiction'.

Hell, you will even gain some knowledge on proper limit heads up play, so it could be a tax write off if you're playing full time!*

Get this book, it's really that good!
