Back to back hands on two different tables at the Crypto $100s.
Get 44. Raised pot. Q84 board. Raiser had QQ. A caller of the pf raise had AA. Lose a full stack in a 3-way all-in.
VERY NEXT HAND, on another table: get JJ and limp UTG, nobody bets. Flop J74 rainbow, I feel OK about slowplaying here although I know I shouldn't. I check, it checks around. Turn Q. BB bets, I raise, he re-raises, I re-re-reraise, he raises yet again, so I figure it's way past time to push, he calls. And he had QQ. That's right, he checked in the BB with QQ and then didn't bet an all undercard flop.
The worst thing is that I am angry with how I played both hands. I should have been able to fold the 44 because the preflop raiser checked/called the flop and then check/raised the turn all-in. And I definitely should have bet the JJ set hand. Not that QQ would have folded, but I should have bet it anyway.
And in addition, of course, it's bye bye to $200. Grrrr....
At least when I get this angry, both with the cards and with myself, I have the sense to quit immediately. No more poker for me tonight!
