I think Kuso has the right line. LA is good when you've got 200BB and you are a superior player. The real players ARE looking to build their stacks, to get deep, and to attempt to withstand a couple of the inevitable bad beats sure to come. I have withstood three in any one tournament, but that's about all. Zee has superior reading skills. He knows when to let a hand go, and how to extract every last chip when he's got it. These two are what allow them to play LA without suffering the same consequences as those who play LA and go bust early. That and the very large BR which allows for the huge variances this style produces.
Survive the first hour and you greatly increase your chances. Survive the second hour with an average chip stack and you've got a real shot. Shift gears when the antes come, and you just might make some money. Get lucky and you may become a legend.
