PT with SNG's

How useful is PT in SNG analysis? It seems like it would be much less useful because in SNG's, everything is largely influenced by situation; much more so than in a ring game. I'm contemplating investing in the setup but I primarily play SNG's. Any thoughts?

I played nothing but SnG's for the first 4-5 months of my owning PT.

It is less useful but it does all the ITM and ROI tracking for you automatically (and shows 1st 2nd 3rds etc at a glance) - you can also filter hands by 10-6 players, 4-6 players and 2-3 players to get some idea of what's worth playing at what isn't - it was easily still worth the money to me, but if you're budget was very tight I could see you not getting it (that isn't the case for Ring games where it's a must)

Oh, that's nice. So you're saying it'll give me numbers regarding a specific hand when played with 6-10 players, 4-6, and etc.?

Once I move up to the $20 SNG level for good I'll probably invest in it. At that point, it'll be much more manageable for my bankroll as wellas useful.

Another thing, I know the hand histories take up large amounts of memory on your hard drive. I play all my poker on my laptop, which is sort of memory strapped. How severe of a problem is memory space for the proper functioning of the computer?

Well 've been using it for a year and datamining a fair bit and still only have about a gig of HDD used -so it's not a killer. I would have 512MB+ RAM if you're going to multitable with GT+ though..
