I have no qualms about the flop bet but what to do on the turn stumped me. I figured 14 outs were enuf for me to call an all in pot sized bet from him so I might as well make it and
hope he folds or I make the river.
However the outcome left a little to be desired. Should I have 1/2 potted the turn or checked maybe since Im a dog at this point?
Had no read on the opp and he turned out to be the typical unimaginative donk found at this level.

I probably check/call the turn and hope for a free card. Your opponent already has less than the pot left in his stack, so there's no point in building a pot for when your monster draw hits. Obviously, if he does bet, you'll call, as you have a ton of outs.

Yeah, I probably go along with stickdude on this one. In a bigger game I make the turn bet (and bet full pot) as a lot of people in better games call a flop bet with a marginal hand then fold when you apply turn pressure, in a $10 buyin I don't think you have any fold equity on the turn, really, and should look to take a free card if possible (and obviously call if he bets, with that monster draw).
