When to Rebuy

When to Rebuy

I have been play 25NL and have been wondering when the appropriate time to rebuy is. Is there a general rule for when to rebuy? Also, I seem to think that rebuying after a large single hand loss is a bad idea because of tilt. However, I often see myself rebuying after a bad beat because I am unsure of what to do. Thanks.
