well, i was due for this...

playing 100 plo8

- boat into quads... but my quads get no action

- set of kings into set of aces (no str8 or flush possible)

- nut flush draw w/gutshot and backdoor low whiffs on everything,

- nut str8 on turn gets flushed or boated on river twice

- nut flush gets boated on river twice

- my wheel splits when villain hits his four-outer to take the high with all the money in the middle

- getting nut low counterfeited A LOT

- whiffing on draw that some CSs are giving me GREAT odds to chase

etc., etc.,

luckily i'm only down about three buy-ins, but this is just sick. i've made a few soft calls for about 3/4 of a stack (e.g., calling small bets with nut flush on a paired board), so i guess i shouldn't be too disappointed.

but this is frickin' plo8 with no shortage of donators at the table... WTF?!?!?!?!

another nice one... get A23x suited to the A on a table with a bunch of people who like to call down with non-nut hands.

flop... A39... i dump to a pot bet. i curse a bit as the turn pairs the 3 for a small boat for me (at least it would have been). dude jams it, turns out he has AA for the top boat, and the caller is chasing an unprotected nut-low... and hits. :shock:

i lose very little here, but it's frustrating not making a mint.

my second set runs into a donks bottoms set, i release when turn makes the flush, he takes money of a juicy CS with a ten-high flush.

forgot to mention lots of rivered chops when CSs were chasing and hit... often with non-nut draws. :shock:

get it all in w a short stack on the turn... all he has is a flush draw (non-nut), i've got two pr and a nut low draw... he hits his flush AND i get counterfeited on the river.
