Yeah, I started playing around with PLO8. I like it. Actually, I'm surprised at how much I enjoy it. Not many hard decisions. Players who seem to pay off nicely. Playing position. It's not as hard a game as it appears, and the variance is pretty low, at least at the $25 tables. I was doing very well this morning on a very passive table, then hit a run where I'd have good cards against very bad boards. Some beautiful, very strong hands like A233s and seeing KKQ on the flop. Bummer.
Re: this hand. I felt pretty sure it was the right thing to do. As it was, there was a caller behind me who called. The board turned out ok, but I would have ended up splitting with original raiser.
I read something funny the other day. "If I win any more pots, I'll be broke." I understand that phrase now.
