What Monitor Do You Use to Play 4 Tables

Postby mwgr5 » Sun Feb 05, 2006 3:08 pm

I'm currently using a 17in LCD and was looking into buying a new monitor that would allow me to play 4 fully expanded tables in one screen. What monitor do you use to four table, or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.

Dell 2001FP. It's very nice.

I am playing 2 tables right now, but how much of learning curve or adjustment is there between playing 2 tables and 4 in NLHE.

Find one that the resolution can go up to 1920x1200 and you can 4 table EASY from any site without any overlap...

2001FP from dell is the consensus winner for value. if you keep your eyes open, you can get them for less than $500.

I've got a couple of BenQ FP2091's, they're pretty good, very sleak and they go up to 1600 x 1200 reso, enough to quad table on. I'm not sure about prices in the US tho, I paid $1,000 AUS for mine though.

It's all about the resolution. You need at least 1600x1200 to not have any overlap at most of the common sights. I still get some overlap at the Cryptos though. I have the Dell 2001fp. Look for internet coupons and you should be able to get it for around $500 +/-.

I got an Inspiron 9300 with 17 inch WUXGA screen (max resolution 1920x1200). I can easly six-table Prima sites (normal size table, not the mini one, not the large one), and seven-table Party with a little overla. If I get some more $ I might invest in a bigger screen, but it won't be for poker, cause really seven tables is enough for a part-time player.

Dell 20.1 is the way to go. If you contact their sales support you can usually get a deal..just say something like "I already have one and I want to get a matching one - BUT I saw an ad in the paper for a 20inch lcd for $450"...instant discount!!!!!.

Worked for me. Use email support - not live chat for this.
