"Ok, I don't have stats, so it may be an exaggeration. But when sites first open new SNG games (for example, plo8/b on pokerroom) all the fish rush to try it out, and no one has any idea what they're doing, which makes it really easy to go on huge rushes.
Edit: I don't want to hijack this, was just trying to say that in the short run, new games/structures can be really lucrative while the fishier players figure out how to play them.

With the new structure, you start with 2000/40 = 50BB (blinds start 20/40). Wasn't the old structure 800/10 = 80BB ?? That would suggest the structure is worse...

Well after playing a few SnGs I am under the impression that the ten minutes at each level will help the tight aggressive player.
It seems like you have plenty of time to wait and take advantage of your paitence and discipline.
It also seems to give the folks who like to play lots of hands plenty of chances to make a mistake, especially when you get down to four or five players.
It also appears to me that the paitent, disciplined players might have a better chance to out play their opponents when you get down to three players.
I truly hope my second impression is correct.
Would love to hear the veiw point of others now that you had the chance to play a few a games under the new structure.
