Does this guy have an ace or not?

I now kinda think he probably had a mid to high PP. But it was still early so I let the K's go. Was this the right move? Did he have an Ace to beat me, or a PP lower than AA enough of the time for me to make the push? Or should I have just folded to his flop bet?

I really hate the minraise preflop, you're going to get called by so many hands here and you're not building the pot much either. Without a very good read I think that's a relatively easy fold on the flop. There's no point investing more chips in a pot which you're probably behind in, especially this early on. Next time this will happen, you'll have AK and bust him with his stupid A9.

I only raised 3xBB for 2 reason, 1 because thats what I'm used to doing in ring games, and 2 because up to that point I had gotten decent PP's about 5 times and raised higher than that and got absolutely no action.
As it turned out, because I had so little invested which was in part because I didn't raise real big PF, it was easier for me to drop those Kings. In fact I probably should have dropped them after the flop when I really didnt have much in the pot.

Is there something wrong with the HH? It says you only raised 2xBB, a min-raise. 3xBB isn't too bad, but in the early stages I still like a raise of 4-5xBB.

There are two schools of thought here, Seb. One is get action on your big hands and the other is make 'em pay to draw out on you. It sounds as if you had a place reserved in each school. Maybe decide which you would rather do, or adjust and don't worry about the results.

I think if you take the gamble and look for action, you can't expect to win everytime. That's why it's gambling.

As for this hand, he hit his Ax on the flop. Gotta let this one go.
