Luck, a different look at it

Had 52o in the big blind. Flop came 24Q with 2 clubs and a diamond. I folded to a min bet with 4 players. 5 of diamonds on the turn. 2 players left, min betting. J on the river, and SB turns over QJ.

Had I been so foolish as to call on the flop, that J would have broke me.

I was lucky here, regardless of the wisdom of calling with 3rd pair. The point is, luck comes in many different forms. You should know that you are often lucky when you don't play, almost as much as being lucky when you do.
